William A. Taylor, 67
FREEDOM, NH — William A. Taylor, 67, died suddenly on June 19, 2018. He was the loving husband of Pamela (Goolishian) Taylor, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn on May 23, 1951, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Genevieve (McGinn) Taylor. He was raised and educated in Marblehead and was a graduate of Marblehead High School, Class of 1969.
Bill was employed for twenty-five years at Somerville Lumber, a career he loved where he made many dear friends.
A lifelong musician, he loved performing and writing music. He was an avid golfer and was a member at the Province Lake Golf Club in Parsonsfield, Maine and the Crown Park Golf Club in Longs, S.C. He loved camping and attending bluegrass festivals every summer.
He also enjoyed boating on Ossipee Lake and lobstering with his father out of Marblehead harbor.
A longtime Danvers resident, Bill and his wife had recently resided in Longs, S.C. and Freedom, N.H., where they had a vacation home for many years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Kenneth Taylor and his wife April Burton of Newark, Calif., a daughter, Patricia Taylor of Danvers, two sisters, Cynthia Gibbon and her husband Daniel and Denise Drozdowicz and her husband Richard, and several nieces and nephews.
Service information: A Reception honoring Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Polish Club, Cheever St., Danvers.
