Timothy C. Gentleman, 60
LYNN — Timothy Clancy Gentleman, a life-long resident of Lynn died in his home on Jan. 10, 2018, at the age of 60. Born in Lynn on June 1, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late Marilyn (Clancy) Gentleman and the late John A. Gentleman and the brother of the late Rev. Fr. John W. (Jack) Gentleman.
Tim graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, and majored in history at Salem State College. He was a lifelong Red Sox fan, and especially loved studying and talking about 20th century history and classic rock bands. He worked in the Deli section for several years at Star Market and Stop & Shop (Swampscott and Malden stores).
He is survived by several cousins, including Peg (Gagner) Hicks, Philip Gagner, Chris (Gagner) Logan, Karen MacDonald, Dwight Werner, Joanne (Werner) Ackerman, John and Joe Gentleman, Janice (Gentleman) Benevento, and Phyllis, Lawrence, and Justin Devaney.
Service information: A funeral Mass will be held in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. followed by a Committal Service in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
