Theodora Tinkham, 92
LYNN — Mrs. Theodora (Adams) Tinkham, 92 years of Lynn died on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Carlton C “Carl” Tinkham. She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Michael and Ethel Adams. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She has lived in Lynn all of her life.
She worked as an assembler and a clerk at the General Electric Company in Lynn and also worked at Analogic. Her most important career was as a good wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Austin Square Baptist Church. She was an artist and was accomplished as a painter in oils. She loved to sing and actually recorded some songs earlier in her life. She loved to dance and loved Ballroom dancing. She loved to clean and have a clean and neat home.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Donahue and her husband Daniel of Tyngsboro, and Joan Duyon and her husband James of Lynn, her grandchildren, Daniel Donahue and his partner Katie Murphy, Christopher Donahue and his wife Holly, David Donahue, Sarah Donahue, James Duyon, Nicole Lyons and her husband Jeremy, Danielle Duyon, Rebecca Duyon and Jacob Duyon and a great granddaughter Aliannah Rose. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Mary Terenzi, Thomas Adams, and Victoria Fyfe.
Service information: Her funeral was held on Friday, August 24, 2018, with graveside services at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street Suite B 102, Danvers, Massachusetts 01923.
