Theodora M. Rowe, 72
HAMPTON, N.H. — Theodora M. “Snooky” Rowe, 72, of Hampton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at Exeter Hospital. She shared 50 years of marriage with her husband, Richard “Dick” Rowe.
She was born in Lynn Dec. 10, 1946 and graduated from Lynn English with the Class of 1964 and later Endicott College in Beverly.
Snooky moved to Hampton in 1971 and was employed as the bookkeeper for the Nutrition Food Service Program for the Hampton School District, SAU 90 working at Marston, Center, and Junior high schools. She retired in 2017 with 37 years of service from a job she truly enjoyed.
She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed. In her earlier years she was an avid bowler, enjoyed crocheting and Bingo.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two daughters, Julie Bierman and her husband Jim of Fremont, Cindy Miller and her husband Brian of Hampton; her brother, Eugene Beaupre and his wife Elaine of Derry, nieces, nephews, a great-niece, McKenna, and a great-nephew, Andrew. She was predeceased by her mother, Theodora “Gram” Gilmore.
Service information: Visiting hours will be from 5-8 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at the REMICK & GENDRON Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2018 in the funeral home with burial following in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton.
