HomemakerLYNN – Sylvia (Swanson) Jones, 72, of Lynn, died January 17, 2008 in the Union Hospitalfollowing a brief illness. Born in Saugus and raised in Lynn, she was the daughterof the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Tully) Swanson, and she was the wife of the lateDogan Kilich Sr. and the late Don Jones.Sylvia was a homemaker, and had previously worked as a home health aide.She had a style with joking, and was considered the life of the party. People warmedup to Sylvia, and many considered her a “hot ticket”. She enjoyed spending timewith her friends at the Brandy Barrell.Sylvia is survived by her children Dogan Kilich Jr. of Texas, Lynda Ransom ofRandolph, Jamie Jones of Peabody and Paul Kilich of Tenn., ten siblings, Barbara, Ruth, GeriLou, Dolly, Bobby, Richard, Davy, Sonnyboy, Buddy and Philly, 7 grandchildren, Muffin, Tianna, Chandler, Christian, Dwan, Kesorn and Lana, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bette Mae.SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral from the Goodrich Funeral Home 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Lynn at 10:30 Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 4-7 p.m. with words of comfort from Rev. Stanley Deas at 5 p.m.
