Pauline R. Belliveau, 91
LYNN — Mrs. Pauline R. (Young) Belliveau, age 91, of Lynn, died on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019. She was the wife of Alfred J. Belliveau, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage.
Born in Keene, N.H., she was the daughter of the late George and Albina (Bourassa) Young. She lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life.
Pauline worked at Hatchers Sportswear, and later worked as a secretary at Salem Hospital.
She loved crafts, knitting and needle work. Her needlework won ribbons and awards at the Topsfield Fair. She especially enjoyed genealogy and family history, and was an avid reader.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her son, Jerry Belliveau and his wife Christine of Lynn; and her daughter, Ann Belliveau of Merrimac, and was predeceased by two sons, Richard Belliveau and David Belliveau. She was the mother-in-law of Mary Belliveau of Revere and Margie Belliveau of Saugus; the grandmother of Richard, Robert, Rachel, Gerry, Andy, Matthew, Charles and Sarah; great-grandmother of 15 and one deceased; and aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Doris Nagel.
Service information: A visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 11 a.m. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
