Mary J. Lessard, 79
DANVERS — Mrs. Mary J. “Judy” (Lovett) Lessard, age 79, formerly of Saugus, died on Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Lessard.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Cunningham) Lovett. She worked as the secretary to the superintendent of the Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield. She was a former member of the Stevens Ministry at Blessed Sacrament and was very active in the Brookdale community.
Mrs. Lessard leaves four loving children, Michele Bates and her husband Dana of Methuen, William Lessard of Rehoboth, Robert Lessard and his wife Maria of Peabody, Monique Hicks and her husband Ronald of Methuen; three beloved sisters, Patricia Muise of Saugus, Elizabeth DiScipio of Lynn, Kathleen Buonopane of Florida. She is also survived by eight cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the BISBEE-PORCELLA Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. A funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus.
