LYNN – Alvin B. Chandler, age 43, a lifelong resident of Lynn, died Feb. 17, 2007 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Abraham and Florence (Crawford) Chandler. Al was a graduate of Lynn Trade High School.For over 30 years he was employed at the General Electric Company of Lynn.Mr. Chandler was a faithful member of the Greater Bethlehem Temple Pentecostal Church of Lynn for over 30 years.Survived by three brothers, Wesley Chandler of Carlisle, Pa., Abraham Chandler of Lynn and Lawrence Chandler of Hampton, N.H.; two sisters, Mabel Chandler and Mary Meshesha, both of Lynn and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Service information: A funeral service will be held in the Greater Bethlehem Temple Pentecostal Church of Lynn, 21 Light St., Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. Visitation at church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Arrangements under the direction of the GOODRICH Funeral Home of Lynn.
