Kelley A. Zankowski, 59

Kelley A. Zankowski, 59

LYNN – Kelley Ann (Craig) Zankowski , 59, of Amesbury, formerly of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.  Kelley was the beloved wife of  Philip B. Zankowski with whom she shared 19 years of marriage; the devoted mother of  Michael Malo of Montana, Joshua Malo of Lynn; and stepmother to Brittany and Zoe Zankowski of New Hampshire.  Kelley was the first born to the late Donald and Patricia (Hanlon) Craig of Lynn; the loving sister of Donna and Ernest Belitsos of Lynn Donald and Jeanne Craig of Florida,  Kevin and Tracy Craig of New Hampshire and Kathleen Strangie of Peabody.

She grew up in Lynn, and raised her family in Lynn before moving to New Hampshire.  She had so many talents and skills, one of which was advocating ferociously for special needs children. We’re sure the many families that she helped are forever grateful.

She absolutely loved gardening and every kind of flower. Kelley cherished her time spent with family and friends, many nephews and only niece and goddaughter, “Mary Pat”.  When they were little, having the kids over to do any kind of craft that you can imagine was one of her greatest joys, especially with her godson, Joey and goddaughter,  Mary Pat . She was extremely thoughtful, always getting the kids a special gift, just for them. She also loved spending time with “Aunt Peg” and held a special place in her heart just for her.

From her siblings; we are forever grateful to her husband, Phil, who read every one of our goodbye text messages and emails to our sister.  We know that couldn’t have been easy.

Mike and Josh, your mom would want you to know how much she gave her love, heart and soul to both of you.  Be proud of her and always do your best and what’s right – she’ll always be with you.
