Karl T. VanAmburg, 60
SALISBURY — Karl T. VanAmburg, 60 years, of Salisbury and formerly of Lynn, entered into rest on Monday, May 13, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Robert and Janet VanAmburg.
Karl was born in 1958 and graduated from Lynn English High School in 1976. Upon graduation, Karl enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.
Karl was employed at Old Neighborhood in Lynn, where he was a loyal co-worker and friend to many.
Karl was devoted to his family. He cherished time with his grandson Zachary and was happily anticipating the arrival of his new granddaughter. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time on the water or sharing a good campfire with family and friends. Karl was a man who appreciated the wonder of the world around him, even buying a home based on the beautiful view of the sunset.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; his children, Ryan VanAmburg and his wife Danielle of Peabody, Kyle VanAmburg and his wife Amanda of Rowley, Kelly VanAmburg of Salisbury; and his grandson, Zachary. He also leaves his sisters, Karen Conte and her husband Rick of North Fort Myers, Karol McCue and her husband Wayne of Woburn, and Kristan Davies and her husband Ron of Wakefield; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Service information: His funeral will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 10 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed by funeral services in Grace Methodist Church, 374 Broadway, Lynn, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
