Jonathan Roy, 31
LYNN — Jonathan “JO” Roy, age 31, of Lynn, lost his bravely-fought battle with addiction on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018.
He was born on April 6, 1986 in Lynn. He was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. JO had worked in the greater Lynn area for many years in sales. He was an avid Boston sports fan who had a larger than life personality. He was known to wear NY Yankees caps just because of the attention that it garnished. He loved cars, especially Cadillacs. He had owned three of them. He cherished the time that he spent with his son, Anthony. He would spend time with him whenever he could. The time he spent with his family meant the world to him.
JO is survived by his mother, Cheryle (Mills) Roy of Swampscott; his son, Anthony Dilisio and his mother, Christine Dilisio of Winthrop; his sister, Jennifer L. Roy; his niece, Brienne Roy, and his nephews, Michael and Jordan Mateo. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. JO was predeceased by his father, Robert “Bob” Wagner and his grandmother, Gail Mills.
