John E. Deluise Jr., 66
SAUGUS — Mr. John E. Deluise Jr., age 66, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in the early morning hours on Tuesday, Feb. 12. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Sobolewski) Deluise, with whom he shared nearly 40 years of marriage.
Born in Boston and raised in Cambridge, Mr. Deluise was the son of the late John E. and Elivira (Gnerre) Deluise. He worked for the past decade as a driver for GLSS and for 30 years as a volunteer soccer coach for Saugus Youth Soccer.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his two children, Lauryn Deluise of Saugus and John Deluise and his wife Lauryn of Rowley; three darling grandchildren, Cadence, John IV, and Bentley; two sisters, Diane Hanafin of Wilmington and Elaine Joyce of New Hampshire; one brother, Joseph Deluise of Medford. He was predeceased by two sisters, Annette Mullin and Joanne Cloran.
