Glenna E. Morong, 85
LYNN — Glenna E. Morong, age 85, of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
Glenna was the daughter of the late Albert and Louise Coletti and the granddaughter of the late Elaine Folsom. She was also the sister of the late Melvin Daniels.
A lifelong resident of Lynn, Glenna worked at several healthcare facilities as a nurse, and supported many causes.
Glenna leaves behind her daughters, Penni Morong of Salem and Cynthia Wallace of Lynn; two granddaughters, Tiffany Morong of Lynn and Tara Morong of Salem; a grandson, Richard Wallace and his wife Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Korben and Melody Wallace, all of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Alberta McMains of North Andover, and two nephews, Michael McMains of North Andover and Glenn McMains, his wife, Shari and their son, Joey, all of Haverhill.
Glenna got the most enjoyment by spending time with her family, whom she loved and treasured with all of her heart! She loved to knit and crochet, was an avid fan of home shopping shows, and thoroughly enjoyed watching Fred Astaire movies, listening to Country music, and visits with her home health aide, Claudia Rodriguez.
Service information: Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation for Glenna on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn. Her funeral will begin on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn. Burial will follow the Mass in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
