Edwin S. Glover, 61
LYNN — Edwin S. Glover, 61, of Lynn, passed away Nov. 1, 2019 at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Saugus, he was the son of the late Ruth and Edwin R. Glover. Edwin grew up in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical Institute.
For 27 years, Edwin was employed as a cook at the former Porthole Restaurant in Lynn. He loved to cook and create new recipes. He was also an avid fan of Boston sports.
Edwin was the husband of Ann Glover, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage; the father of Lacie Harris and her husband David, Edwin S. Glover Jr., Colleen Sewell and the late Donald W. Sewell III; grandfather of Crystal and Tia Sewell, Alex and Nathan Harris, all of Lynn. He was the brother of Harry Glover and his wife Peg of Texas and Patricia Love and her husband Ronald of Pepperell, and the late Richard and Joseph Glover. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Service information: A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at GOODRICH Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.
