Donald W. Richardson, 53
LYNN — Donald W. Richardson, 53, of Packers Falls Road, Newmarket, N.H., and formerly of Lynn, died Aug. 23, 2018 at his residence.
Born July 6, 1965 in Lynn, he was the son of Donald C. and Carol (Leach) Richardson. Donny was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute in 1983.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a CNC machinist and did construction and landscaping throughout his years. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for fishing and watching his favorite Boston sports teams.
He was happiest sitting by a lake or river with a fishing pole in his hand, a hook in the water, and a game on the radio.
Known by his friends as “the Dude,” Donny was friendly, and outgoing, with a huge heart and would help anyone in need. He will be missed by many.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Carol Richardson of Saugus; his three siblings, Robyn Kefalas and her husband Steve, Jodi Webster and her partner Ron, and Bryan Richardson and his partner Barry; two nephews, Stephen and his wife Julia and Jared; and a niece, Jillian, as well as his uncle Wayne, aunts Mary and Shirley, and many cousins.
Service information: A memorial to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Austin Square Baptist Church in the downstairs Fellowship Hall located at 10 Keslar Ave., Lynn.
