He is survived by his wife, Virginia Tosney Trask; beloved son Conor and his wife Emily of Brookline; and adored daughter Gillian of Swampscott. Son of Bourke C. Trask and his wife Esther O’Brien Trask of Bangor, Maine; brother of Stephen B. Trask of Salem; predeceased by his mother, Arilla Whitehead Trask. Born on July 4, 1957 in Washington, D.C., Dale graduated from the University of Maine at Orono and received his MBA from Babson College. An avid runner, Dale was an oft-recognized fixture — faithful dogs by his side — on the Marblehead Rail Trail. Dale was a gardener and painter who cherished being outdoors. He was also a natural athlete: marathoner, skier, tennis player, golfer, and a lover of hiking on Mt. Katahdhin.
