Cliff Vigeant, 74
LYNN — John Clifford Vigeant “Cliff” of Lynn passed away on Christmas day. Born in Lynn, on Sep. 2, 1943, to John and Elizabeth Vigeant, Cliff now enters eternal life with his parents and his brother Robert. Cliff’s loving family who he leaves behind his faithful companion Carol McCormack, her son Thomas, daughter-in-law Angela, and children Thomas Jr., Nicholas, and William who all knew him as “Grampy,” also his daughter Jeanette Ellis, three grandchildren, and his brothers Albert and Paul, sister Florence and friends.
Cliff served his country in the U.S. Navy, worked in law enforcement as a police Chief in Selby South Dakota. Born and raised in Lynn, he returned to Lynn and started Cliff’s Oil, to all who knew him, he was a very hard working, loving, and giving man. For those of us closest to him, we will never forget his unusual sense of humor.
Service information: Private services will be held at SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway St., Lynn. Burial will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody MA on Jan. 11, 2018, at noon, Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
