Cleveland A. Natola, Jr., 87
Mr. Cleveland A. “Cleve” Natola, Jr., age 87, of Lynn, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Demopoulos) Natola with whom he shared over 65 years of marriage. Born in Jamaica Plain in 1931, he was the son of the late Cleveland and Maria Josephine (Fabiano) Natola. He was raised and educated in Revere and has lived in Lynn since 1953. Cleve was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Army from 1948-1952. He worked as a carpenter until joining the Lynn Fire Department in 1964. He was a tiller on Ladder 3 for many years and retired from Engine 11 in 1994. He was a member and served on the Lynn Fire Relief Association Board until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In addition to his wife Ann, Cleve is survived by his children, Karen A. Natola, Gail M. Aylward and her husband Ronald, Michael A. Natola, Cindy R. Natola and her husband Thomas J. Imrie and Daniel J. Natola and his wife Ruth; his grandchildren, Nicholas J. Robson, Richard C. Robson, Ronald Aylward and Anthony Natola; his great-grandson Evan Robson and his many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings.
Service information: A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in St. Mary Cemetery, Lynn at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and are asked to meet inside the Main Gate of St. Mary Cemetery at 10:45a.m. Arrangements entrusted to SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOMES, LYNN.
