LYNN — Mrs. Ann M. (Gray) Reddy, age 82, of Lynn, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her beloved family, on Saturday, March 23, 2019. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Reddy, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

A lifelong resident of Lynn, Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McGonnell) Gray. She attended Lynn schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1953. Ann was also a graduate of the Boston School of Business.

Ann had worked for the City of Lynn’s Department of Community Development for 30 years, retiring in 2005 as the department’s financial manager. She was also the former president of the Lynn Municipal Employees Credit Union, and a member of the board for Neighborhood Development Associates for more than 30 years. After retirement Ann enjoyed her time working at the Lynn Firefighters Credit Union.

She was an active communicant of St. Pius V Parish in Lynn, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and as the treasurer of the St. Pius V St. Vincent DePaul Society. Ann’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially at York Beach in Maine and Short Beach in Nahant.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Reddy and his wife Andrea, Joan Kolodziej and her husband Steve, Michael Reddy and his wife Susan, Christopher Reddy and his companion Henriette Perkins, Patty Lauria and her husband Paul, and Matthew Reddy and his wife Felicia, all of Lynn; 14 grandchildren, Meaghan Reddy and her fiancé Ashley Guerrette, Jillian Phelps and her husband Will, Lauren Wass and her husband Corey, Brian Kolodziej, Colleen Kolodziej, Shannon Reddy, Charley Reddy and his wife Rachel, Katie Reddy, Jeni Reddy, Kristin Lauria, Matthew Lauria, Daniel Lauria, Liam Reddy, and Colin Reddy; five great-grandchildren, Cash and Calum Reddy, Liam and Rorey Phelps, and Finn Wass; a daughter-in-law, Karen Reddy of Lynn; a brother, Peter Gray of Rock Island, Ill., and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Casey Ann Kolodziej and Patrick M. Reddy, and the sister of the late Sally Green.

Service information: Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Pius V Church. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
