Alexander H. Ragucci, 81
PEABODY — Alexander H. Ragucci, age 81, of Peabody, died Sunday in a local nursing home after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was the son of the late Charles A. Ragucci Sr. and Phyllis (Filadoro) Ragucci.
Born and raised in Everett, he had lived in Lynn for many years, and attended Lynn schools.
Alexander was head custodian at Lynnfield High School for 30 years until his retirement. He was an animal lover and was a supporter of the ASPCA, the Doris Day Foundation, and various other animal and wildlife charities. He also enjoyed playing cards, walking and working around the house.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Margaret Greene, Charles A. Ragucci Jr., Lucille Pendleton, Ida
Flynn, Donna Woodbury, Nicholas Ragucci Sr., and Robert Ragucci; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gloria Persia, Anthony Ragucci Sr., Henry Ragucci and Camille Canney.
Service information: His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9-11 a.m., prior to the funeral.
