LYNN – The Shuffle Mode concert at Red Rock Park this evening has been rescheduled for Aug. 26, due to inclement weather.
Shuffle Mode is a versatile 4-piece band comprised of seasoned veterans of the local and national music scenes. The band is adept at covering many styles and genres of music including Van Morrison, The Beatles, U2 and one hit wonders like Gary Numan. The band consists of Kevin Kennedy on keyboard, Paul Soares on drums, Steve Monayer on bass and Sean Murphy on guitar.The next concerts in the series are 12:01 Blues Band on Aug. 12 and Mary Beth Maes Band on Aug. 19. Shuffle Mode will close out the season on Aug. 26.The free concerts are part of the Summer Series sponsored by the Friends of Lynn and Nahant Beach, a non-profit organization dedicated to the stewardship and promotion of the beach.All shows are at 6 p.m. and light refreshments will be available for sale. Proceeds will go to Friends of Lynn and Nahant Beach programs. Red Rock Park is located along the beach on Lynn Shore Drive and Prescott Road.
