LYNN AND REVERE CONTINUE TO REPORT DOUBLE-DIGIT INCREASE

Lynn and Revere continued to report a double-digit increase in new coronavirus cases on Thursday.
And another Lynn resident has died to bring the city’s COVID-19 death toll to 114.
Fifteen new cases were reported in Lynn on Thursday, which increases the city’s caseload to 4,523. Of that total, 620 cases are active and 3,789 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Revere reported 22 new cases, but no additional deaths. The city’s caseload is now 2,360, 94 people have died, and 2,121 have recovered, according to the city website.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (109 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott.
As of Wednesday, Marblehead had 262 cases and 30 deaths, Peabody had 1,232 cases and 177 deaths, Saugus had 638 cases and 39 deaths, and Swampscott had 157 cases and 10 deaths.
