Quinn Paul, 46, of Myrtle Street was arrested for assault and battery on a family/household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation or suffocation, threat to commit crime, speed greater than reasonable, and no inspection/sticker at 3:18 a.m. Thursday.

Summons

Paul E. Crespin Ponce, 42, of Main Street, Malden was summonsed Wednesday on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle accident after a motor vehicle accident at the YMCA, 259 Lynnfield St. 

Accidents

A report at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday of a motor vehicle accident involving a school bus at 384 Lynnfield St. The only injuries were a bloody nose from a passenger in a motor vehicle.

A report at 4:01 Wednesday of a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a motorcycle at Giovanni’s House of Pizza, 525 Lowell St. 

Fraud

A walk-in report of fraud at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday by the owner of Nadine’s Salon.

Graffiti

A report at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday from an officer who said there was graffiti on a signal box at 93 Gardner St. and 50 Margin St. The fire department was contacted and it will handle the matter.

Shoplifting

A report at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday from an employee at Zumiez, 210Z Andover St. who stated there was a past incident of shoplifting.

Suspicious Activity

A report at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday of a party in a red sweatshirt knocking on car windows at McDonalds Restaurant, 133 Main St. The party was sent on his way.

Unwanted Party

A report at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday of an unwanted party at Walgreens, 229 Andover St. The caller said the person was not causing a disturbance. Walgreens will draft a trespass notice.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:53 a.m. Wednesday at Vinnin Street.; at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday at 3 Railroad Ave.

Cons

A report of a con or scam at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday at 33 Beach Ave.

A report of a con at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday at 1005 Paradise Road. A man reported his wife was scammed out of $5,000 by an unknown woman. An envelope containing fake paper money was collected as evidence.

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 4:33 p.m. Wednesday at 330 Paradise Road. The reporting party stated she was accosted outside of her vehicle on Monday evening.

A report of a disturbance at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday at 1002 Paradise Road. The caller stated his wife was trying to kick him out of his house.

Suspicious Activity

A report of a suspicious person at 5 p.m. Wednesday at 450 Paradise Road. A passerby stated a woman in her 20s wearing an orange shirt was pushing a shopping cart believed to be filled with stolen goods.
