Nahant residents must stay vigilant on non-owner-occupied short-term rentals

To the editor —

This letter is to thank the residents of Nahant for standing with me on the bylaw change to not allow any non-owner-occupied short-term rentals in any residential areas in Nahant. However, we must stay vigilant, and let our selectmen know that we do not want any grandfathering of any non-owner-occupied short-term rentals in residential areas either. Allowing grandfathering of them would not be fair to the residents of the town of Nahant. No non-owner-occupied short-term rentals in residential areas past, present, and for the future is the best for this town!
