Arrests 

Francisco Tavarez-Contrera, 41, of Summer Street, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny from building, distribution of a Class A drug, Class B drug trafficking at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday. 

Jancarlos Hernandez-Rivera, 30, of Lyman Street, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, motor vehicle number plate violation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of larceny/forgery/fraud at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street; at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday on Intrepid Circle. 

Water Break

A report of a water break at 7:42 a.m. Wednesday on Pickett Street. 

PEABODY

Assault

A report at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday from a caller at 18 Keys Drive who said she was assaulted by a male while taking her trash to a dumpster. She said the male left in a “waste management” truck.

Complaints

A report at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday of an unknown party throwing a mattress into a dumpster at Luso American Credit Union, 37 Tremont St.

A report at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday of an escalating argument between a male in a black Nissan Altima and a female who approached the vehicle in the parking lot at 161 Main St.

A walk-in report at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday from a parent saying there were kids driving in a green car at the Center School, 18 Irving St, shooting a water gun at pedestrians around 4 p.m.

Gunshots

A report at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday from a caller who said she heard gunshots in the woods behind her house at 63 Goodale St.

Juveniles

A report at 4:02 Wednesday of an ongoing issue of troublesome youths in the Allen Road area.

Neighborhood Dispute

A report at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday of dispute over yard Waste at 684 Lowell St. Police determined it was a verbal argument over the property line. The parties have agreed to keep their distance and refrain from engaging with each other.

Road Rage

A report at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday that a female had accused a male operator of cutting her off. She reached into his car and he pushed her off. The female left the scene.

SWAMPSCOTT

Accident

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Eastman Avenue and Essex Street. One party reports he did not wish to exchange information, but instead pay for the damage.

Animals

A report of a dog struck by a motorist at 7:59 a.m. Wednesday at 146 Beach Bluff Ave.

A report of an injured mallard duck on the road at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday at 701 Humphrey St.

Missing Person

A caller reported that her sister was missing for six days at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday at 19 Pleasant St.
