SWAMPSCOTT — On Saturday, Fisherman’s Beach will be alive with festivities as the town celebrates its 170th anniversary of incorporation.
Throughout the day, the Summer History Festival at Harbor Fest will be bursting with events for people of all ages.
The morning starts off with the 7th Annual Dennis Muise Flounder & Skate Kids Fishing Tournament. Later, the festival will be filled with live music from the band Philip Alexander & the Wild Things and an afternoon Sea Shanty Sing-Along.
Additionally, the Swampscott Yacht Club will be offering harbor tours to those in attendance. The times are still to be announced.
