Winchester Savings Bank has announced the hiring of Benjamin Goldstein as a commercial lending officer.
“We’re growing our commercial lending group, and Ben is an excellent addition to our team,” said John A. Carroll, president and CEO. “He has all the qualities we are looking for — knowledge and experience in the industry, ties to the local community, and a great approach towards customer service.”
Goldstein brings more than six years of experience in commercial lending to Winchester Savings Bank. He was most recently at North Shore Bank and East Boston Savings Bank.
“I am excited to become a part of such a great organization,” said Goldstein. “Winchester Savings Bank is a model community bank with a strong commitment to serving the businesses and developers of local communities. Being part of the bank’s growth in this area is something I’m really looking forward to.”
Goldstein, a Salem resident, is a Boston University alumnus and member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity.
He will be based at the bank’s corporate headquarters at 661 Main St. in Winchester and can be reached at 781-368-9270 or [email protected].
Founded in 1871, Winchester Savings Bank is a mutually-chartered, independent, community bank that has been serving the needs of individuals and businesses for more than 150 years. The bank offers a full line of commercial products and services including acquisition, construction and business loans.
