LYNN

Arrests 

Jose Ayala, 37, of 42 Prince St., Salem, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor; leaving the scene of property damage; intimidating a witness, juror, police officer or court official; and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 12:32 a.m. Friday. 

Lawrence Caruso, of 90 Light St., was arrested on a warrant and charged with OUI drugs at 9:59 a.m. Thursday. 

Felix Rodriguez, 32, of 2 Margin St., PO Box 943, Salem, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and intimidating a witness, juror, police officer or court official at 4:24 p.m. Thursday.

A report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 3:06 p.m. Thursday at 119 Lewis St. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a breaking and entering at 6:08 p.m. Thursday at 23 Stephen St. 

Overdose 

A report of an opiate overdose at 3:55 p.m. Thursday at CVS at 65 Boston St. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 12:31 p.m. Thursday at 12 Maplewood Road; at 8:28 p.m. Thursday at Stop and Compare Market at 43 State St.  

A report of a robbery at 12:56 p.m. Thursday at Barrett Street and Western Avenue.

Vandalism 

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 1:06 p.m. Thursday at 6 Collins St. Terrace.

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:44 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Street and Mohawk Road; at 4:48 p.m. Thursday on Atlantic Avenue; at 5:10 p.m. Thursday at West Shore Drive and Village Street. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a breaking and entering at 7:17 p.m. Thursday on Tedesco Street.


PEABODY 

Arrests 

David W. Pierce Jr., 54, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (subsequent offense) and disturbing the peace at 1:11 p.m. Thursday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 8:58 p.m. Thursday at 22 Lynnfield St. Police reported a vehicle struck a Verizon pole. 

A report of a bicyclist struck by a motor vehicle at 10:11 p.m. Thursday at 89 Washington St. and 35 Mason St. One person was taken to Salem Hospital. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of an attempted burglary at 11:26 a.m. Thursday at Charleys Cheesesteaks at 210C Andover St. An unidentified man tried to pry open the cash register shortly before 5:30 a.m. 

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 9:39 p.m. Thursday at Sonic Drive-In at 55 Newbury St. A caller reported five to six people were panhandling. When the caller refused to help them, one of the people allegedly exposed himself to the caller and his children. The panhandlers had left prior to police arrival. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 10:39 a.m. Thursday at EA-Teriyaki at 210 Andover St. A cash register containing $300 was reported stolen from the business. 

Vandalism 

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 11:38 a.m. Thursday at 12 Smidt Ave. 

A report of vandalism at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at iStorage Peabody at 244 Andover St. The manager reported a man who was denied access to the storage unit for non-payment had kicked the storage unit door open. Philip Kahan, 24, of Portland, Maine, was issued a summons for malicious destruction of property.
