A report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at 8:20 p.m. Monday at 16 Washington St. A crash involving a motorcycle was reported. The operator of the motorcycle was taken to Salem Hospital. Mustafa E. Abdulrahman, 18, of 218 Canal St., Salem, was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.
A motor vehicle crash with injury was reported at 8:28 p.m. Monday at 532 Lowell St. One person was taken to Beverly Hospital after a two-car crash.
Assaults
A report of an assault at 2:43 p.m. Monday at Shore Educational Collaborative at 10 Technology Drive. A staff member reported a bus driver punched one of his residents in the face, which resulted in a bloody lip. John P. Thompson, 69, of 30 Hyde St., Danvers, was issued a summons for assault and battery on a person with an intellectual disability.
An assault was reported at 9:02 p.m. Monday at 267 Lynn St. A caller reported a man was beating and punching a woman inside a car. Police could not find the suspect vehicle, which was described as a gold Toyota Camry.
Breaking and Entering
A report of an attempted burglary at 2:28 a.m. Tuesday at 22 Fay Ave. A caller reported three kids had attempted to break into the garage. She said she saw them on her camera, which had alerted her to the motion.
Complaints
A report of counterfeiting at 4:09 p.m. Monday at Pink at 210P Andover St. An employee reported a customer had paid for a purchase with $400 in counterfeit bills.
A report of suspicious activity at 4:31 p.m. Monday at Bank of America at 189 Andover St. A bank employee reported a possible incident involving a customer being coerced to transfer $20,000 into cryptocurrency. The person said he was trying to transfer money to his son, and was not forced to do anything.
Suspicious activity was reported at 6:47 p.m. Monday at Newbury Street Salon at 139 Lynnfield St. A caller reported there was a nail in her tire and thought it was done by someone she had been having issues with. The suspect, Orane Campbell, 28, of 133 Spring View Drive, Lynn, was issued a summons for malicious destruction of property.
