A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday at 2321 Avalon Drive. A caller reported her leather wallet, credit card holder, driver’s license, and two credit cards were taken from her vehicle overnight.
A motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported at 8:35 a.m. Thursday at 44 Keys Drive. A caller reported the glove box was broken and a wallet was stolen.
Complaints
At 1 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported chickens from 33 Driscoll St. are always loose and do not appear to have adequate shelter. Police reported the five hens appeared to be in good overall health; they have free range of their yard and the next-door neighbor’s yard. The owners were advised to get a permit from the Health Department to keep the animals. The woman said she didn’t need a permit and the man was uncooperative. The man told police that he didn’t want the hens and would discuss surrendering them to the Animal Rescue League with the woman.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at 16 Pinewood Road. An unresponsive woman was taken to Salem Hospital.
