LYNN — The City of Lynn’s snow-emergency parking ban ends at 4 p.m. Friday.
The city asks that residents remove all vehicles parked in designated city lots by 6 p.m. Friday. All vehicles still in designated city lots beyond that time will be subject to ticketing and towing.
Residents should not that Waste Management trash and recycling will not be collected today and have a one-day delay.
The Department of Public Works and Fire Department ask residents to clear any catch basins or fire hydrants that are in front of their property if they are able to.
If your vehicle has been towed during the storm due to a violation of the parking ban, you can retrieve it at the city’s tow lot located on Centre Street — behind the Western Avenue fire station — which is open until 6 p.m. Friday and opens again at 8 a.m. Saturday. Violators are subject to a $170 tow fee and $35 a day storage fee, which are both payable by cash only.
