Arrests 

Juan Claudio was arrested on a warrant and charged with Class B drug possession at 4:21 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:44 p.m. Monday at 7 Chase St.; at 7:06 p.m. Monday at Bank of America at 1 State St.; at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday at 35 Market Square; at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday at Essex and Rockaway streets; at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at 334 Western Ave.; at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday at 96 Lafayette Park.

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 4:26 p.m. Monday at 94 Wyman St. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 5:52 p.m. Monday at 15 Pine Grove Ave. 

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 6:03 p.m. Monday at 100 Willow St.; at 5:13 a.m. Tuesday at 69 Light St.

A report of suspicious activity at 7:14 p.m. Monday on Smith Street.

Fire 

A report of a van on fire at 10:12 a.m. Monday on Locust Street. 


NAHANT 

Complaints 

At 10:29 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported there has been an ongoing rat issue behind 157 Nahant Road. The caller said the rats have started to infest his home. He wanted to speak with animal control about the issue; a voicemail was left for the animal control officer. 

A report of a suspicious vehicle at 1:44 p.m. Monday on Marginal Road. 


PEABODY

Arrests 

Amanda Williams, 32, of 2001 Airport Road, Naples, Fla., was arrested and charged on a fugitive from justice warrant at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:01 p.m. Monday at 18 Lynnfield St. A car into a pole was reported. Joel Daniel Reitor-Ferrer, 30, of 85 Congress Ave., Chelsea, was issued a summons for failure to use car in starting, stopping, turning or backing up; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; and failure to notify the RMV of a name or address change. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 3:44 p.m. Monday at 3 Center St.; 3:50 p.m. Monday on Margaret Road; at 7:42 p.m. Monday at 133 Main St. and 2 Pierpont St.; at 12:06 a.m. Tuesday at 7 Driscoll St. 

A car crash into a house was reported at 123 Lynn St. Maikol Ortiz Baez, 25, of 33 Endicott St., Apt. 1, Lynn, was issued a summons for permitting unlicensed or suspended operation of a motor vehicle. Emely Carela Urbaez, 21, was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a breaking and entering at 8:11 p.m. Monday at 46 Holten St. A break-in with $200 in cash was reported. 

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 12:54 p.m. Monday at 6 Essex Center Drive. A caller reported a man was going through vehicles in the parking lot. 

A report of a disturbance at 4:27 p.m. Monday on Walnut Street. A man was reportedly kicking cars in traffic. Police sent the man on his way. 

Overdose 

A report of an overdose at 3:04 p.m. Monday at 18 Pleasant St. The person was taken to Salem Hospital.
An overdose was reported at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday at 35 Hawthorne Circle. One person was taken to Salem Hospital. 


SAUGUS  

Accidents 

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 3:11 p.m. Monday at 291 Main St. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at 3:16 p.m. Monday at 1565 Broadway. One person was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a car crashed into a guardrail. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 7:02 p.m. Monday at LA Fitness at 1450 Broadway. A caller reported her car window was broken and her purse was taken. 

Complaints

A fight in the LA Fitness parking lot at 1450 Broadway was reported at 7:32 p.m. Monday. A man told police he was jumped, but declined medical attention. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 3:53 p.m. Monday at 12 Intervale Ave. A man walked into the station to report his son was scammed out of $2,500.
