A report of threats at 9:45 a.m. Saturday on Cliff Street. A caller reported receiving a disturbing and threatening text message.
A report of a scam at 12:34 p.m. Saturday at the Police Department on Nahant Road.
A speeding complaint was reported at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday on Castle Road. The caller said he was almost hit that morning between 6 and 7 a.m.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 3:48 pm. Monday at the Police Department on Nahant Road. A man walked into the station to report fraud. He said he had been scammed online by a company named Data Services Pro, which had demanded that he pay $899 by personal check from his Eastern Bank account in exchange for them unfreezing his computer. The man said he had paid the amount and then immediately contacted his bank. Eastern Bank had told him to file a police report in order for his money to be refunded.

At 11:43 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a vehicle crashed into several parked cars on the lot of Bill’s Auto Sales at 256 Newbury St.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday at 200 Lowell St. A caller reported he had witnessed a man hitting the base of a tree with what appeared to be an axe. The caller thought the tree would fall into the road. Police reported the call was unfounded.

Quy T. Ho, 63, of 22 Rockland St., Melrose, was arrested on a warrant at 10:01 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19.
Gary Kenneth Lacey, 48, of 11 Easement Road, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery and attempting to commit a crime at 12:32 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15.
Accidents
A report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16 at Chestnut and Winter streets. A caller reported he struck a woman with his vehicle. The woman was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. A responding firefighter was injured after twisting his knee.
A 66-year-old man was injured in a two-car crash at 5:37 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 on Route 1 south. He was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
One person was taken to CHA Everett Hospital after a three-car crash at 3:01 p.m. Sunday on Lynn Fells Parkway.
A pedestrian declined medical attention after being struck by a motor vehicle at 5:23 p.m. Monday at Central and School streets.

Theft
A report of a larceny at 11:06 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at B.D.’s Furniture at 1201 Broadway. A caller reported he met with a man he had contacted through Facebook Marketplace to purchase an iPhone 13 for $1,000. When he gave the man $1,000 in cash, the man handed him an iPhone 13 box that had an iPhone 4 in it. The seller then reportedly pulled a semi-automatic pistol on the caller and told him to walk away. The man and the woman he came with to meet the caller left the scene in a black Acura.
A report of an unarmed robbery at 12:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15 at Eastern Bank at 605 Broadway. Security reported a panic alarm had been triggered by the bank tellers. An employee reported a man wearing a black mask sweatshirt had robbed the bank and fled on foot toward Target. Police arrested the man (see arrests) and recovered the bag.
An employee was detained at Home Depot, 564 Broadway, for committing an internal theft. He was trespassed from the property.
A larceny was reported at 1:06 p.m. Tuesday at Lowe’s at 1500 Broadway.
