St. Mary’s Kyle Kwiatek named CCL MVP for boys cross country

Following a season that saw him win several big races and set personal records in the process, St. Mary's sophomore runner Kyle Kwiatek was named the Catholic Central League MVP when the awards and all-stars were announced this weekend. 

Kwiatek had a strong sophomore season for the Spartans, winning both the two-mile CCL Freshman/Sophomore Meet race (11:04) and the 3.18-mile Lynn City Cross Country Meet race (18:31). Kwiatek also finished sixth at the Division 2 Championships to qualify for the MIAA All-State Meet, where he ran a personal-best 16:29 and finished 22nd.
