A report of a disturbance at 5 p.m. Wednesday at 75 Lynn St. A caller reported an out-of-control man was in front of her home; the man was yelling and swearing. The man fled toward Boston Street. He was stopped by police and sent on his way.
Fire
A report of a fire at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday at Kiley Memorial School on Taylor Street. A caller reported a group of youths were starting a fire in the woods across from the school parking lot. Police and firefighters checked the area and reported nothing was showing.
Theft
A stolen package containing a $26 phone case was reported at 6:43 p.m. Wednesday at 84 Endicott St.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday at Tannin Corporation at 65 Walnut St. A caller reported someone knocked over his motorcycle.
Vandalism was reported at 8:40 a.m. Thursday at Cabaret Lounge at 96 Newbury St. A caller reported damage to a motor vehicle.

Arrests
Joanne Martiniello, 50, of 9234 Crane Brook Way, Peabody, was arrested on eight warrants at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday at 30 Hamilton St. A man came to the station to report two of his packages were opened up in his lobby by an unidentified man. The man said two pairs of sneakers were taken and the shipping boxes were left behind. Video footage did not provide enough clarity to identify the man.
Suspicious activity was reported at 9:54 p.m. Wednesday at Pierce Memorial Drive and Highland Avenue. A caller reported a group of kids were moving cones and signs around. An officer reported the driver of a car was practicing his parallel parking for his driving exam.
A report of a disturbance at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday at Red Roof Inn at 920 Broadway. A caller reported receiving a call from a woman renting a room; she was screaming for help. A 50-year-old woman from Peabody was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital (see arrests).
