LYNN ― Lynn Woods Summer Running completed another week of races on Wednesday, with 78 runners competing across three different races.
In the 1.57-mile kids race, Lynn’s Stephen Down took home the win with a time of 16:41. Lynn’s Melvin St. Paulin (18:53) and Desmond St. Paulin (19:29) finished second and third, respectively, while Swampscott’s Brennan Connor (21:32) and Stacey Connor (21:40) finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Lynn’s Patrick Conlon (26:19), Lynn’s Katherine Mathews (28:30), Lynn’s Bridgette Lally (30:14) and Lynn’s Kristen Lally (30:29) rounded out the top 10.
In the 2.2-mile race, the father-son duo of Melrose’s Andrew Skeirik (16:03) and Daniel Skeirik (16:04) finished neck-and-neck in the top two spots. Melrose’s Paul Hennessey finished in third place (20:32), while Lynn’s Steve Martin (20:45), Danvers’ Paul Arrington (22:38), Lynn’s Phoxay Phothisane (23:30), Swampscott’s Jeffrey Warshafsky (23:40), Lynn’s Tom Fitzgerald (24:22), Lynn’s Shea Pawl (25:03) and Lynn’s Chris Pawl (25:05) rounded out the top 10.
The final race of the night, a 3.87-mile race to Penny Bridge and back, was won by Melrose’s Adam Cook with a time of 26:30. Melrose’s Griffin Barriss finished second with a time of 27:18, while Woburn’s Jessica Snyder (28:31), Salem’s Deirdre Lowe (28:34) and Lynn’s Eric Bowden (29:25) made up the rest of the top five. Lynn’s Sean Bailey (29:43), Merrimac’s Greg Whyman (29:47), Lynn’s Amy Damon (30:18), Melrose’s Jeff Cook (31:16) and Salem’s David Stoffregen (31:25) rounded out the top 10.
