Behind another massive performance from Maggie Pierce, the St. Mary’s field hockey team rolled to an 8-0 victory over Lowell on the road Wednesday afternoon.
Pierce led the offensive attack with five goals, while Lily Pregent added two goals in the win.
St. Mary’s (2-0) hosts Everett Monday (3:45).

Arianna Costello led the way with two goals, while Grace Morey had a goal and two assists. Emma Perry added a goal and an assist, while Rayne Millett added an assist. Sedona Lawson had eight saves in net, while Zoe Elwell, Tess Keenan, Kailey Silva, Emily McPhail, Karina Gyllenhaal and Eve Watson also played well in the win.
Fenwick (1-0) hosts Northeast on Friday (4).

Aidan Emmerich shot even par and notched 36 points for the second straight day, while Sean Mathers put up 20 points in the loss.
St. Mary’s (0-2) plays Thursday (3) on the road at St. Joseph’s Prep.

Connor Cunningham put up another impressive performance with 28 points, while Tony Novack was close behind with 26 points.

Marco Escobar continued his blazing start to the season, netting a season-high six goals in the victory. Jefferson Paz had a goal and three assists, while Josue de Leon and Yoni Ovalle each scored a goal. Kevin Rodriguez led the way with four assists, while Gabriel Barrios and Kenny de Leon each had an assist. Angel Lopez and Alexander May split time in net for the victory.
