A caller reported seeing two kids trying to break into a building on Mechanic Square at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday. Police spoke with the kids who said they were just looking in the windows, not trying to enter.
A caller on Baldwin Road complained at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday that the lights set up at the school were blinding and should be adjusted. The caller was informed that it was an issue for the school or the company working the project, not the police.
Report of a disturbance on Pig Rock Lane at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday.
An Intrepid Circle resident reported that his upstairs neighbors were making noise at 10:58 p.m. Tuesday.

Assaults
A report of an assault with a dangerous weapon at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday at 6 Cosmos Drive. A caller reported his daughter was pointing a knife at him. Meagan Shea, 29, of 6 Cosmos Drive, was issued a summons for assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime.
A report of an assault at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday at Ahepa Penelope No. 120 at 98 Central St. A caller reported his mother and her caretaker were physically fighting in an apartment. The caller said his mother was on the ground and the caretaker was pulling her hair. The caretaker, a 47-year-old woman, was placed in custody (see arrests).
Breaking and Entering
A report of a breaking and entering at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday at 18 Greenwood Road. A caller reported an ex-tenant broke into the home.
Fire
A report of a dumpster fire at 6:58 p.m. Tuesday at 9 Esquire Circle. It was extinguished by the fire department.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday at 4 Overlea Ave. A caller reported vandalism to his yard and car. Police reported there were hot dogs in the shape of a cross placed on the driver’s side door handle of the caller’s car and his girlfriend’s car. Both vehicles were parked in the driveway at the time.
At 1:42 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported she was witnessing three juveniles vandalizing the picnic table at Connolly Park on Dark Lane. DPW was asked to pick up the broken table.
Vandalism was reported at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday at Welch School at 50 Swampscott Ave. A caller reported several juveniles were destroying property on school grounds. Police reported the call was unfounded.
