Bryant Aquino, 23, of Haverhill Street, Lawrence, was arrested and charged with larceny over $1,200 and on a warrant at 11:21 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a car crash into a parked car at 8:09 p.m. Monday on Maple Street.
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:54 a.m. Wednesday on Atlantic Avenue.
Assaults
A report of an assault at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday on Vine Street. A woman told police her son had been threatened by a neighbor with a butcher knife two days prior.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 4:59 p.m. Monday on Garden Road. A caller reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle. The caller later reported she found her purse at her parents’ house; it was not stolen.
Complaints
A report of threats at 8:55 a.m. Monday on Broughton Road. A caller reported a man had threatened to stab her. Police advised both of their HPO rights.
At 9:17 a.m. Monday, a caller reported someone had put trash bags over the “no parking” signs on Barnard Street. The caller said there were cars parked up and down the street, which would have prevented a fire truck from getting through. Police reported two signs had been removed and one had been bagged. Police contacted the highway department, reporting that the signs may have been taken down as part of a tree replanting project.
At 2:09 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a woman had just “stepped into the road and kicked” her car on Barnard Street.
A report of kids playing frisbee at 6:20 p.m. Monday on Ocean Avenue. A caller was upset because kids were playing frisbee on the beach near where she was eating. She wanted police to tell the kids they could not do that. She was advised by police that kids were allowed to play frisbee on the beach and that officers would not tell them to stop. The caller proceeded to say that she was almost hit by the frisbee and that it could hurt babies on the beach. Police again advised the woman that kids were within their rights to play on the beach, and that while they should have more respect by moving further down the beach, it wasn’t against the law to play frisbee there.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported a man was “yelling obscenities” while walking in the area; the caller thought he may have been under the influence of something. The caller’s wife later reported the man was urinating on the fence between the tracks of Pleasant and Smith streets. A third caller reported seeing the man leaving the tracks while yelling at cars and screaming obscenities. Police reported the man declined services and said he was trying to get back to Somerville.
Theft
A report of motor vehicle theft at 5:14 a.m. Wednesday on Colgate Road.
A report of a stolen laptop at 11:21 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street. A caller reported he had been trying to sell his laptop when the potential buyer stole it from him. A 23-year-old man was arrested (see arrests).
A report of unemployment fraud at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday on Arnold Terrace.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 1:19 p.m. Wednesday on Briar Lane. A caller reported his son’s car was keyed by a group leaving a party he was at.
NAHANT
Complaints
At 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Sherman Avenue reported being upset that a commercial wood chipper was being used in a residential area, and wanted to know about the noise bylaw.
A report of a coyote sighting at 12:11 p.m. Wednesday at Walton and Furbish roads. A caller reported that, while on a walk with the children who attend her daycare, she encountered a coyote. The caller said she tried to scare the coyote off, but it just stayed in the middle of the road.
At 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported two cars with kids showed up with towels and the kids were jumping off the dock at Tudor Wharf on Wharf Street. Police reported the kids left the area.

Michele R. Lougee, 48, of 30 Lowell St., Apt. 3, was arrested on a warrant at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday.

One person was taken to Salem Hospital after a crash involving a police vehicle was reported at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday at Peabody School Administration at 27 Lowell St.
A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday at 111R Main St. Carlens L. JealPierre, 22, of 111R Main St., Apt. 12, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of property damage.
Complaints
A report of threats at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday at 7-Eleven at 115 Main St. A store clerk reported someone had threatened him with a firearm, which he had not seen. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
A report of operating under the influence of drugs at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday at 232 Washington St. Jessica Lynn Holter, 38, of 7 Foskett Court, Natick, was issued a summons for OUI-drugs.
Police received multiple calls for an earthquake in the city shortly before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, which was confirmed by city officials.
A report of a medical emergency at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday at the YMCA at 259 Lynnfield St. A caller reported a person was drowning in the pool; the person was removed from the pool and CPR was performed. The person was taken to Salem Hospital.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday at 16 Charles St. A caller reported his electric lawnmower had been stolen from his yard. The man called back to say his wife had found the stolen lawnmower in the back of someone’s truck on Franklin Street by Perkins. The victim did not want to press charges.
A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at 7-Eleven at 115 Main St.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday at 21 Elm St. Damage to a door was reported.
A caller reported his tires were slashed and the side of his motor vehicle was keyed at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday at 55 Holten St.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday at 131 Howard St. and 12 Sweetwater St. A caller reported a car hit a fire hydrant. The driver was taken to the hospital by a friend.

A report of a disturbance at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Hills Playground. A caller reported a man was setting up a campsite in the playground. Police reported the man was just fishing.
A disturbance was reported at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Spring Suites at 832 Broadway. A caller reported a man had been urinating in the parking lot on a regular basis; this time, she said her 4-year-old daughter had witnessed it. Police could not locate the man.
Theft
