A report of a burglary/breaking and entering at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday on Doaks Lane. A caller reported someone had rummaged through a boat, which was moored in Little Harbor. Nothing was taken. The harbormaster was notified.
Complaints
A report of drinking in a car at 9:57 a.m. Wednesday on Stramski Way. A caller reported a man in a silver Audi appeared to be doing shots in the playground parking lot. Police reported the man was drinking water out of a water bottle and was not impaired.
A report of someone concerned over kids having fun at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday on Crowninshield Road. A caller reported kids were jumping off the big rock and doing back flips. The caller was concerned about their safety. The harbormaster responded to confirm there was an adult with the children; the harbormaster reported all was well.
At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from Middle Street contacted police to say he had “been away for a few days on the island” and wanted to know if it was the evening of the 11th.

A report of a disturbance at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday at 4 Williams Ave. A caller reported she could hear a group of people having a loud argument in the distance. Police reported the person would be turning down his rap practice for the night.
A report of a suspicious person at 1:22 p.m. Wednesday at Saugus Center on Central Street. An officer reported a man who was smoking marijuana rode down the bike path after being told not to do so, and was heading toward Lynn. Police were unable to locate the man, who was described as being shirtless with his hair in a bun.
A report of suspicious activity at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday at New England Auto Sales at 19 Salem Turnpike and Lincoln Avenue. Lynn Police reported two men were possibly stealing auto parts from New England Auto Parts. Saugus Police reported conducting an extensive check with negative findings.
A report of a disturbance at 9:58 p.m. Wednesday at Stackpole Field on Summer Street. A caller reported a large group of youths on the field appeared to be drinking. Police reported the group was outside in vehicles talking and not causing a disturbance.
Suspicious activity was reported at 10:01 p.m. Wednesday at the community pool area on Founders Way. A caller reported 10 youths were breaking into the pool area. Police dispersed the group.

At 7:02 p.m. Sunday, a caller from 22 Beverly Road reported two shirtless males had rung her doorbell at 1:16 a.m. and took off running. The caller was told to email a copy of the doorbell camera footage.
