A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:34 p.m. Friday on Atlantic Avenue; at 1:48 p.m. Friday at Humphrey Street and Brookhouse Drive.
Complaints
A report of a neighbor issue at 4:33 p.m. Thursday on Broughton Road. A caller wanted a resolution for an issue involving his neighbor banging on the wall 24/7. He said he was tired of it. Police reported this was a civil issue.
At 8:11 p.m. Friday, a caller from Clifton Avenue reported that while his wife was out jogging Thursday between the high school and Glover School, some kids in a red pickup truck drove by her and yelled out a racial slur. The caller said his wife was a bit shaken up from the incident and was unable to get a license plate of the vehicle.
At 8:47 a.m. Sunday, a caller from Atlantic Avenue reported that a car drove over his lawn, an island, a bush and a light. Police located the driver, who was unaware of the damage and requested the property owner’s information so she could pay for it.
Theft
A report of a stolen go-kart at 11:08 a.m. Thursday on Front Street.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 12:59 p.m. Friday on Wyman Road. The park department reported there was graffiti all over the bandstand.
NAHANT
Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:22 p.m. Sunday on Wilson Road.
Complaints
At 5:17 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported people had taken pictures of her children on the beach near the Tides Restaurant on Wilson Road and wanted an officer to come by the area.
A report of a disturbance at 12:21 a.m. Sunday at DCR Long Beach lot on the Causeway. A Wilson Road resident reported hearing “a girl screaming for help” on the beach. Police responded and found nothing out of the ordinary.
At 4:17 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a group of boys were headed toward the middle of the baseball field, which was near where a coyote appeared to be injured. Police reported the coyote was not injured or aggressive and had gone into the brush at Short Beach. No kids were around upon police arrival.
At 4:21 p.m. Sunday, a male teenager walked into the police station to ask if it was legal to shoot an air gun at a coyote that was at the Lowlands baseball field. The boy was advised accordingly.

Arrests
Richard H. McNeil, 57, of 12 Downing Road, was arrested and charged with three counts of threatening to commit a crime, trespassing and assault and battery at 10:34 p.m. Saturday.
Robert Stephen Melville, 58, of 150 Shore Drive, was arrested and charged with OUI-liquor second offense and motor vehicle lights violation at 7:12 p.m. Friday.
Valdir Dias Luciano, 69, of 21 ½ Bowditch St., was arrested and charged with two counts each of assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime at 4:05 a.m. Monday.
Nancy Mahely Vasquez-Martinez, 26, of 161 Central St., Apt. 2, Chelsea, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and disguise to obstruct justice at 4:21 p.m. Saturday.
Kristen M. Williams, 35, of 107 Lynn St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a warrant and charged with leaving the scene of property damage and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 9:12 a.m. Saturday.

Assaults
A report of an assault at 8:19 p.m. Sunday at Whispering Meadows at 278 Newbury St. A caller reported being shoved by another resident of the park, who goes by Melanie.
A report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 4:05 a.m. Monday at 21 ½ Bowditch St. A caller reported his mother was chased out of her home by her roommate, who was armed with a knife. Valdir Dias Luciano, 69, was arrested (see arrests).
Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 4:15 p.m. Friday at 20 Berry St.; at 8:11 a.m. Saturday at 26A Endicott St.
Complaints
At 7:12 p.m. Friday, a caller from 17 Greenwood Road reported his neighbor had threatened to shoot him. A 58-year-old man was arrested (see arrests).
A report of illegal dumping at 11:43 a.m. Sunday at Fairweather Apartments at 20 Central St. A caller reported someone had dumped a bronze statue of a woman holding a torch and sword in the parking lot by the dumpster. Police reported the caller had only needed help to get the statue into the dumpster.
Fire
A report of a moped on fire at 1:43 a.m. Sunday on Goldberg Road. The fire department extinguished the fire.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 4:33 p.m. Friday at Hampton Inn, 59 Newbury St. The person was taken to Salem Hospital.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 10:22 a.m. Sunday at Stop & Shop at 19 Howley St. A man walked into the station to report he had lost his wallet and his credit card was used at Stop & Shop.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 3:49 p.m. Friday at 112 Lowell St. Police reported the rear windshield of the caller’s vehicle was smashed.
