Natasha Megie-Maddrey is running for Lynn City Council in Ward 4 despite facing racial profiling throughout her current and past campaigns. Megie-Maddrey says she "wants people to do their research and vote for the right candidate" and not let race interfere with the campaign.

One of the stops on the Garden Art Walk was to see a bee keeping demonstration by Joe Douillette on Elmwood Road, Swampscott.
