To the editor:
Referring to Congressman Moulton’s comment in the Item July 12: “(There’s) sort of an old boys’ network who just likes things the way they are.”
My question to him is: How does he know this when he’s not part of the city government? Has he taken notice of the accomplishment the city has made in the development that is currently underway, and future development that’s in the works?
Anyone who took notice would say it is not liking things the way they are, it’s called teamwork — our leaders have not been sitting on their hands.
Has Congressman Moulton been to many City Council meetings? Then how can he say that some like it the way it is? Or perhaps he is mistaken — is he referring to the U.S. Congress?
That, in my opinion, is the “good old boys’ network.”
