LYNN — A mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic known as the VaxBus will be available in Lynn on July 5 and 6.
Members of the public can go to the ADA-accessible bus without an appointment to get a free COVID-19 vaccine. The two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be available to patients 12 and up, and the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available to those 18 and up. The bus will return at a later date to offer second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
The VaxBus visits communities all around Massachusetts, including those that are part of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Vaccine Equity initiative, which includes Lynn, and areas with lower-than-average vaccination rates.
The bus will be at Nahant Beach from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
