The majority of the time, the person said, it is Latino music that is being broadcasted from “gang banger” cars. The complainant believes that the music serves as a signal to potential customers, telling them that the driver and others in the car are selling illegal drugs and are likely armed. According to the email, “it is not a secret that many of the illegals entering our country from the south border are drug dealers” and “have traveled to various parts of the country with the intent to sell fentanyl.” The complainant went on to ask police to “nip this problem in the bud” with extra patrols on the town’s busiest streets. “This is not racist rant. This is real, it’s happening in our country, in our town where the desire to live peacefully is a simple and not unreasonable request,” the person wrote. Police responded to the complainant’s home, but no one was there. A voicemail was left with the number included on the email.
