A three-car crash was reported at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Town Variety at 116 Central St. Mariana Bitencourt Martins, 23, of 76 Walnut St., Apt. 2, was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

A report of suspicious activity at 1:18 p.m. Tuesday at 321 Lowell St. A caller reported a suspicious person had gone down his driveway and picked through his trash. Police reported they would try to locate the woman and advise her not to go on private property.
Suspicious activity was reported at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at 25 Lynnfield St. A caller reported a bald man wearing a backpack had taken the potted plants from her porch and thrown them into the street. The man was located by police and sent on his way. The caller did not wish to pursue the matter.

A report of a larceny at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday at 19 Apple Hill Road. A caller reported items were missing from his safe.
A larceny was reported at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday at Homewood Suites at 57 Newbury St. A caller reported a muffler was stolen from her vehicle. An officer reported a catalytic converter was stolen.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday at 16R County St. A man reported damage to his motor vehicle.
Vandalism to the McDonald’s building at 133 Main St. was reported at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday. Police reported the incident had occurred last Friday night.

Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Avenue and Ballard Street. Injuries were reported.
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 8:11 a.m. Tuesday at Essex and Vine streets. A caller reported a two-car crash with unknown injuries.
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday outside Stop & Shop, 164 Main St. A man walked into the station and reported his vehicle sustained damage consistent with a side swipe.
Animal complaint
At 9:47 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported ducklings stuck in a drain at the Saugus Middle-High School. A fire department ladder truck was dispatched. Ducks were extricated and reunited with their mother.
Complaints
A report of a road rage incident at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday on Lincoln Avenue. A caller reported that after cutting him off, two men got out of the car and pulled a gun on him. The incident is under investigation.

A Doherty Circle resident requested another person be removed from the building after ordering takeout at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
