Complaints
At 7:36 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported four people on motorcycles were riding erratically on Humphrey Street. The motorcyclists were reportedly not wearing helmets. Police reported the drivers refused to stop for them. The motorcycles were later reported to actually be dirt bikes.

A hit-and-run crash was reported outside Kohl’s Department Store, 333 Broadway, at 2 p.m. Tuesday. A caller reported her vehicle was struck by another, whose operator fled the scene.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 7:13 a.m. Tuesday at the site of the old Friendly’s at 777 Broadway. A caller said a storage container was broken into, with articles taken.
A report of a breaking and entering at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday at Winthrop Motors, 961 Broadway. A caller reported his business was broken into and his safe opened. He said he saw a ladder going up to the bathroom window, which was opened.

A report of a bat in a house on Essex Street at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday. Animal Control was notified.
A report of dogs on Phillips Beach at 7:09 a.m. Wednesday. Animal Control was notified.
Complaints
The owner of Mission on the Bay restaurant called at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday to report that a car was parked across the driveway, making it impossible to receive a delivery.
A resident reported at 2:53 p.m. Tuesday that the new traffic pattern on Walker Road does not have adequate signs and cars are going around the barriers set up to reroute traffic. DPW was notified. Police received more reports of cars driving in violation of the one-way traffic pattern later Tuesday.
A caller reported at 3:08 p.m. Tuesday that a white school bus was parked on Railroad Avenue and blaring loud music from a speaker.
An Elmwood Road resident reported seeing a flashlight in her bedroom window and then seeing a person running through the backyard at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday. The person turned out to be a neighbor putting the trash out.
Threats
A Connelly Avenue resident reported receiving threats online at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday.
Well-being check
An officer reported finding a small child in the road on Magnolia Road at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday. The parents were contacted and the child was returned home safe.
