LYNN

Arrests 

Jermaine Davis, 46, of 182 Henry Ave., was arrested and charged with selling/possessing an electric stun gun, failure to wear a seat belt, unlawful improper storage of a firearm, being a fugitive from justice, carrying a firearm without a license, arrestee furnishing false ID information and possession of a Class C drug at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday. 

Paul Dercolo, 59, of 31 Carol Ave., Salem, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage and marked lanes violation at 2:07 p.m. Thursday. 

Tricia Mendez, of 14 La Grange Terrace, was arrested on a warrant and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and motor vehicle lights violation at 10:05 a.m. Thursday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday at 671 Lynnway; at 3:21 p.m. Thursday at Honey Dew Donuts at 1067 Western Ave. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday on Otis Street; at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday at 184 Broadway; at 7:24 a.m. Thursday at 800 Lynnfield St.; at 12:42 p.m. Thursday at Central Square and Union Street; at 2:01 p.m. Thursday at 50 Jackson St.  

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Circle at 867 Lynnfield St.; at 10:20 a.m. Thursday at Central Avenue and Munroe Street.  

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday at Laruta Restaurant at 21 Neptune Blvd.; at 5:31 a.m. Thursday at 40 Sheridan St.   

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday at 67 Silsbee St.; at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday at 15 Flint St.; at 2:18 p.m. Thursday at 75 Silsbee St.  

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Grove Cemetery at 145 Boston St.; at 7:03 p.m. Wednesday at 55 Newcastle St. 


MARBLEHEAD

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday at Barnard Street and Atlantic Avenue.

Complaints 

At 12:02 p.m. Wednesday, an Ocean Avenue caller was upset because he was trying to grow grass on the nature strip where people were parking. The man called back to say the woman who had parked on the grass had left.  


PEABODY

Arrests 

Derek Grant, 30, of 116 Main St., was arrested on a warrant at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday at 178 Lowell St. and 3 Orchard St. A citation for a marked lanes violation was issued to one of the drivers after a three-car crash. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday at 207 Lynn St.; at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday on Hardy Street; at 9:28 p.m. Wednesday at Route 128 North and 310 Lowell St.; at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at 10 Centennial Drive; at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday at Down River Ice Cream at 86 Andover St. 

A motor vehicle crash involving a bus was reported at 8:01 a.m. Thursday at 49 Northshore Road and 0 Shore Road. Police reported there were no students on the bus.  

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday at 149 Main St. A caller reported her boyfriend had stolen her safe, which contained $15,000 in cash. The safe was reportedly taken from her closet. 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 10:53 a.m. Thursday at 18 Walnut St. A caller reported his car was keyed overnight. There are no suspects. 


SAUGUS

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday at Walnut Street and Great Woods Road. One person was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday at Broadway and Essex Street; at 10:06 p.m. Wednesday at Central and Jackson streets 

A motor vehicle crash with injury was reported at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday at Napa Auto Parts at 501 Main St. 

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday on Broadway.

Breaking and Entering 

A report of an attempted breaking and entering at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday at 36 Eustis St. A caller reported someone tried to break into their home. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday at Essex Landing at 1565 Broadway. A stolen package was reported. 


SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

An accident was reported in the Stop & Shop parking lot at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday. There were no injuries.

Animals

A report of a possibly injured turkey on Foster Road at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. Animal Control was notified.

A report of a raccoon in a window well on Littles Point Road at 2:13 p.m. Wednesday. Animal Control was notified.

Complaints

A caller reported at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday that a motor scooter and bikes were speeding on Essex Street and causing problems. The caller said that coffee had been thrown at his vehicle and the scooter did not have its headlights on.

A report of an erratic vehicle swerving into oncoming traffic at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday at Humphrey Street and Monument Avenue.

A report of an erratic vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday at Humphrey Street and Atlantic Avenue.

A report of graffiti on Railroad Avenue at 2:17 a.m. Thursday.

Disturbances

An Eastman Avenue caller reported at 12:31 a.m. Tuesday that a car horn had been sounding for the past few hours.

Police received a complaint regarding trucks idling and making deliveries through the night at the post office on Elmwood Road at 2:32 a.m. Thursday.

Suspicious activity

A Nichols Street resident called at 9:24 a.m. Tuesday to report a past attempted incident of breaking and entering. The caller said they had video of the suspect.

A manager at Walgreens on Paradise Road called at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday because they believed a woman in the store was the same person that had shoplifted the day before. Police determined it was not the same person.

A caller reported at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday that a home on Glen Road had an open door and no vehicles in the driveway and wanted an officer to check the home.

Theft

A report of shoplifting at Marshalls on Paradise Road at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday.
