LYNN — Police are investigating after a man was shot on Chestnut Street Monday afternoon. 

Police responded to 109 Chestnut St. shortly after 12:30 p.m. and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.

Kmiec said the victim, a 19-year-old man from Revere, was shot on the street and brought into the house.

The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Kmiec. 

No arrests have been made.
