A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:59 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Road and Humphrey Street. A caller reported a “chain reaction” crash involving three vehicles occurred after a car stopped to let her cross the road. The fire department reported one person was injured. Lamont A. A report of unemployment fraud at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday on Washington Street.
Loud music was reported at 12:37 a.m. Thursday on Turner Road. A caller reported kids were at the school smoking weed and blaring loud music under a tent. The caller said the group was disturbing her and her children.

A report of a disturbance at 2:27 a.m. Thursday at 10 May St. A caller reported there were people in his home and that they were starting a fire. Police reported the couch was extinguished after a person left burning marijuana on it before going to sleep.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:35 p.m. Thursday at the Police Department at 6 Allens Lane. An officer reported an unknown person was in the back lot. The officer spoke with the man, who was following a fishing app and trying to fish in the pond behind the police station. He left without incident.

A caller reported at 8:42 p.m. Wednesday a cat appeared to have been hit in the area of Angelos Service Station on Lincoln Avenue.
A woman called the station at 12:48 a.m. Thursday to report that her neighbor from lot 63 verbally threatened her while she was walking her dog in the area of 846 Broadway. A dispatched officer reported it was a verbal argument over a dog being on the property.
Police received a report at 6:48 a.m. Thursday of a suspicious motor vehicle in the area of Mike’s Roast Beef on Hamilton Street.
Police received a report at 7:07 a.m. Thursday of a suspicious motor vehicle outside AAA Travel on Broadway.
Theft
An employee of Victoria’s Secret Pink on Broadway called at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday to report two Black females stole three bags of clothes and left the store. An officer was dispatched for a report.
A man on Hampton Street called the station at 5:53 p.m. Wednesday to report his snowblower was missing. An officer took down a report.
SWAMPSCOTT
Accidents
At 12:33 p.m. Thursday, a resident came to the station to report that another vehicle had hit his car on Nason Road the day before, damaging his mirror, and had dashcam video of the vehicle.
At 3:05 p.m. Thursday, a motor vehicle crash was reported on Essex Street.
Complaints
At 12:01 p.m. Thursday, a Marblehead resident reported a landscaper with a Swampscott address was blowing debris into conservation land.
Scams
A report at 3:22 p.m. Thursday of an attempt to con money from a Doherty Circle resident. No loss was reported.
Suspicious activity
A report at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday of a black pickup truck driving by Swampscott Middle School harassing students.
At 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported seeing a man down on the sidewalk next to a parked car near Whole Foods and was concerned that something was wrong. The man was changing a tire.
A report at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday of a person sleeping in a car in the parking lot at 525 Paradise Road.
